Well what a weekend it was! With our political future in limbo, one thing that is clear this Monday morning is the weekend arts wrap-up.
The National Gallery of Australia in Canberra is still undergoing a revamp. When its finished it will arguably be the premier gallery space of Indigenous art in the country. For an example of the exemplary work it will display read here.
Crime and art collide with Poppy Flowers by Vincent Van Gogh being stolen for a second time on the weekend.
The Public Works image of the week is a wonderful piece you may have seen before. Shown at Sculpture by the Sea, the annual sculpture exhibition held at Cottesloe beach, Mitsuo Takeuchi's, Transfiguration Screw was seen in 2009.
