It's great to be blogging again. So a lot has been happening in the local arts scene while I have been off-line.
Firstly there is a new Artistic Director for our festival. Perth International Arts Festival is delighted to announce the appointment of Jonathan Holloway, one of the UK’s most successful festival leaders, to the position of Artistic Director for 2012 to 2015.
An article you may like to read from the weekend, is the Public Works article from The Weekend Australian. This will be especially interesting if your interested in sculpture.
If you need to practise you're analysis skills this week's Public Works image is currently in the vertical file in the MSC library.
Lastly you will be given the outline for your semester two Investigation Case Study this week. As this is a great opportunity to submit work early and receive valuable feedback, gain more marks and select artists that inspire you please start this case study THIS WEEK.
